Company History

Seaforth is an industrial mineral supply company, with international sources of product that primarily serves markets in the United States and Canada.

The company was founded in 1957. Its name was derived from the Seaforth Highlanders, a Scottish military regiment that is sentimental to the Company's founding family.

1957 - Seaforth founded.
1960 - The first of many affiliated fluorspar mines was developed in Mexico.
1978 - Seaforth began drying and processing fluorspar in its East Liverpool, Ohio location.
1986 - Additional land facilities were purchased in East Liverpool to triple capabilities.

In planning future growth, Seaforth is looking at the developments of other mineral sources in addition to fluorspar and strontium carbonate, either directly or indirectly through a web of other industrial mineral companies and facilities.
